Appointment information
Where to from here?
If you have any questions or think Angela may be a good fit for you, please compete the Contact form so that she may call you for a free no obligation 15 minute conversation. During this phone call, Angela will speak to you about what you are seeking and whether this is something she can provide. Please note that Angela’s appointment availability is limited and she is unable to take on clients who are currently in crisis or who may require support outside of appointments (for example significant suicidal or homicidal thoughts).
Where and when do appointments occur?
Angela consults on Mondays and Tuesdays, as well as Wednesday mornings. She is also able to offer telehealth appointments.
What are the costs?
The current cost of a standard 50 minute consultation is $225. This fee will increase to $230 from 1 July 2025. You do not need a referral to see a psychologist; however, Medicare rebates of $141.85 per session are available for up to 10 sessions per calendar year for eligible clients who have obtained a Mental Health Care plan from their GP.
It is best to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan prior to your first appointment to ensure you receive this from the beginning as the rebate cannot be backdated. Most GPs require you to book a double appointment with them to allow sufficient time to assess and complete this plan. Angela will provide more detail about the information required during the initial intake call.
You may also be able to claim some of the cost of sessions from your private health insurance and you should contact your private health insurance to discuss your cover.
Payment is required on the day of your appointment and can be via direct transfer or credit card.
Are you taking on new clients?
Wait times can vary from month to month but are currently (March 2025) approximately four to six weeks.
